چکیده
Abstract Background The carbon pools of forest soils play a vital role in global sequestration and emissions. Forest management can regulate the output soil to certain extent; however, kinetics effects density on require further investigation. Methods We established sample plots with stand gradients three different aged Larix principis-rupprechtii plantations quantified respiration, organic (SOC), dissolved (DOC), microbial biomass (MBC), light fraction (LFOC), readily oxidized (ROC). Results conclusions During growth development plantations, is an essential factor that impacts respiration its associated elements. Moderate was observed promote both heterotrophic rates MBC LFOC, whereas it inhibited ROC. soil, heterotrophic, autotrophic older stands were relatively rapid, contents SOC, MBC, DOC, ROC higher more sensitive changes density. labile closely related but not SOC. Among them, LFOC played roles “warehouse” “tool” significantly correlated respiration. ROC, as “raw material”, exhibited negative correlation When content maintained low level “dynamically stabilized” state. regulated by affecting carbon, which provided path for

Diurnal and Seasonal Change in Stem Respiration of Larix principis-rupprechtii Trees, Northern China
Stem respiration is a critical and uncertain component of ecosystem carbon cycle. Few studies reported diurnal change in stem respiration as well as its linkage with climate. In this study, we investigated the diurnal and seasonal change in stem respiration and its linkage with environmental factors, in larch plantations of northern China from 2010 to 2012. The stem respiration per unit surface...

The concentrations and stoichiometry of certain elements (carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus) are critical to the maintenance of plant functional and environmental adaptation during plant growth. We explore how the concentrations of C, N and P and the ratios of C:N, C:P, and N:P in the leaves of differently aged Larix principis-rupprechtii Mayr. plantations changed with growing season and stand ag...

Understanding how concentrations of elements and their stoichiometry change with plant growth and age is critical for predicting plant community responses to environmental change. We used long-term field experiments to explore how the leaf, stem and root carbon (C), nitrogen (N) and phosphorous (P) concentrations and their stoichiometry changed with growth and stand age in a L. principis-ruppre...

Controlled pollination (CP) is an important tool for breeding programs to improve seed quality, as it rapidly generates desirable genotypes and maximizes genetic gains. However, few studies have evaluated the success rate of CP, especially in Larix gmelinii var. principis-rupprechtii Mayr. seed orchards. In this study, we estimated the rate of correct parentage in 257 CP progeny in an L. gmelin...
متن کاملMulticolor fluorescence in situ hybridization with combinatorial labeling probes enables a detailed karyotype analysis of Larix principis-rupprechtii.
The chromosomes (2n = 2x = 24) of Larix principis-rupprechtii are composed of six pairs of large metacentrics and six pairs of medium-sized submetacentrics. The identification of homologous pairs is hampered by their high degree of similarity at the morphological level in each group. As one of the most extensively used methods in molecular cytogenetics producing chromosome landmarks, fluorescen...
